L in a BD is loaves in a bakers dozen
and w of the AW wonders of the ancient world but I just cannot get anything for the first one
I had several numbers to team up and when one of you said Holes on a golf course that was it I had an 18 a 12 and a 24. Thank you very much indeed grateful to you all
Hi Polly, you may be able to help me, I'm doing the same puzzle, I've got them all except B in an O and I'm totally stumped. Any help would be gratefully accepted. X
I've just noticed that you said you had 12, 18 and 24 left.
18 went with holes on a golf course, leaving 12 and 24 as the answer.....................but I've used my 12 for ....P in a S I had it as Pennies in a shilling?
Have I gone wrong somewhere?
Thats brilliant , thanks Scorpio.
The only thing puzzling me now is, the aim of the puzzle was to be left with two numbers.
I have 14 and 24 left.
And Polly has 12 and 24 left,
so one of us has gone wrong somewhere
:-s
Scorpio, that would fit.
I think i will just have to toss a coin as to which one I go with. Lol
the puzzle was set by a reader, I wish I knew how old she was, that would help swing my way of thinking. X
