I'm normally very good at these. I have five out of 50 I cannot get re a cryptic quiz and the answers are girls names.

I thought of Penny, too, but can't parse it with, 'she's a nice girl'.
Only thing I can think of is Penny in Just Good Friends.

Thought of Peach(es) for 5 but as someone said doesn't really work, same goes with Penny but it is the best option to date, but I cannot get it to sit right in my mind.

Thanks for the Ingrid (number 4) Would never have got that, same goes for number 3 Rachel. With all of those as above including Lesley for number 2 makes perfect sense. There is a rare name of Anice which fits number 5 (as in > a nice
