Welcome to Mad Over Fifties Club, in light of the wonderful weather we have here at Nungate Towers, we're holding tonights meeting down on the beach.
The Tailcock tonight is the "Sandy Shore" (no strings attached!) just the thing to sip when barefoot!
We have set up the barbecue, and Luigi's Ice Cream van will be along later.
DJ Bert Fanackapan is just setting up down by the mooring for Polar Bear's 'Berg keeping things nice and cool.
Tonight's festivities will be whatever members decide they should be, all the facilities are available for members use, from the indoor pool in the dungeon to the bungee on the topmost Tower (beware of the piranhas in the moat when jumping)
A warm welcome awaits all who dare enter these portals

carriages at midnight

Yes please I will have ice and a slice. Carers are due, in fact they are late as usual, think I may rattle a cage or two come Monday.

That doesn't sound like much fun Daisy. At our last house we had no tap out back, I had a really long hose which went from kitchen (front of house) to the garden (back of house) In the end I used to just top up the water butt with a 5 litre water bottle, I kept just for that, anytime we went out we took a bottle of water and topped up the butt. Easier than trailing a hose all through the house.

Good idea Jeza, if nothing else it'll keep them on their toes! I hope these ones behave themselves better than the one your wrote about recently, I was appalled!
Ice and slice on it's way (I'll have to "talk for Igor" )
Hiya Jeza, yeah it's Saturday so your entitled to an early one.

Bliddy hell Daisy, that sounds a right fiasco to water the garden, great when the hose turns into a snake isn't it.
Hi all - just in - raffle, well given all this about water and carwashes, I'll offer you a Cornish car wash.

Question Author
reckon best beloved would prefer the Lothian version as opposed to the Cornish one!
Wouldn't it be great if someone invented a self cleaning car?
tony, I gather he/she wetted themselves.....
LOL, bet they did, DT.
Question Author
that would do I suppose!

Anyone gonna ask me if I actually had fun this week? (as opposed to all the other shynola going on)
Fine here - la Wimblebums earlier (very disappointing performance from the lezzies, womens doubles, they went for it.....imagine kissing and cuddling on the hallowed turf and in front of the Duck of Kent.
Always suffered from ophidiophobia
All together, "DID YOU HAVE FUN THIS WEEK? Nungate......."
