The Km Links Game - July Week 4 And Results

Good morning everyone - Bit of a dreary Monday here to start the week, but nothing too dreary about our scores, some very nice points were gathered in to round out the month of July.

Profound apologies firstly though, to our Canadian player in Mrs Onty who did what I believed nobody had done last week ....she Took Silk !!
Perhaps in future, if someone picks an unusual match we could award a bonus of say ....two extra points ....what do you think ???

Pairings one and three were very popular, two and four were scanty however there were two STAR TURNS...LYSANDER & SEEKEERZ collected 6 points for three correct picks, while lots of 3's and 1's came other players' way so .....

This is the last round for July, so a new game commences next week and I hope to see some of our regulars back from holidays and raring to go so till then stay safe, and I'll see you next Saturday...skz

I feel very old - becoming 'beecee'. Your suggestion about a possible double points is interesting. I would like it to happen where only one person gets a correct match. Coming back to the present time, over to you all for opinions.

Oh yes definitely extra points for one person picking an unusual match, so if people agree, we could start next week. (of course then we have to wait for someone to do it !!)

Perhaps I should stay away - I must still be on holiday mode - null points!!

In terms of bonus points I agree wholeheartedly with deecee131 - where there is only one person to get the link it should be considered an 'unusual match' - bonus of 2 points awarded.

Will try and do better next month! Congrats to all July's star performers!

FF club for me this month. First time for everything. I must try harder or perhaps not as hard for August.

Seriously though, it was as much my fault as yours that the score was wrong. What kind of a dimwit forgets to check the answers until a week later? I think it's called a Senior Moment. I seem to be having more of those lately. Perhaps it's the heat!
