Todays crusader

Pleeeese tell me I am not the only one struggling with todays crusader, I can't remember it being this bloody hard ever !! Anyone else having the same problem, normally I struggle on the last one or two , but today I am seriously racking my brains and getting nowhere fast .

Just finished it myself.   Struggled with it too.

most of the answers are doing me in, I have been at most of the day and can't seem to get too far. Stymied on 1 across , 1 down , 3 down, 17 across .... the list goes on !!!  My problem is that I can't let it go until I have solved it , but my Lady wife is fed up with me pouring over " that bloody crossword !!!"
