I think it was removed due to the setter having previously asked the Ed that no solutions are asked for.

The setter is very clear about the rules of her quizzes - always has been.

Apparently the question comes from a quiz where the setter clearly states no asking on internet sites No doubt snailranch can confirm whether this is the case or not.

Oddboddy was more than a bit annoyed, that's putting it mildly! This person quite well knows my quizzes are no asking and the rules of entry are quite clear, ask and that entry is disqualified. I appreciate some don't like that but if you enter any competition you abide by the rules of entry so if you don't like the rules you don't enter. I don't advertise on here I stick solely to my own site because this is an asking site. I respect you lot so I should be awarded the same courtesy. The editor agreed on this a couple of years back when we both agreed to respect each others views. snailranch knows full well my views on asking and knows full well she is breaking the rules she entered by. I appreciate the people who responded to the post won't all be aware of any of this so I have no quarrel with them but the asker knew only too well as she has done my quizzes for some time now and I am very disappointed by her asking. I do my quizzes for those like myself who don't like quizzes being asked, theres hundreds of quizzes out there for those of you who see it differently and I have no problem with that but I am afraid the rules of the booklet are anyone asking will have their quiz disqualified. I have stuck to my promise not to advertise on here which would in fact treble my sales but I choose to just sell to a few on my own site. I was given the Editors word that my views would be respected on here and posts removed which it looks like this was upheld by the last post being removed.
