Thursday, The sky is almost clear, I can see Venus just above the hilltop. I hope it turns out like yesterday, warm and sunny, the wind still has a bite to it however.

Went into the butcher round the corner to get a couple of slices of ham. forty quid later! It's fatal, In twenty years I've never come out with just what I went in for! He has such lovely offers on, most of them half price.

What today has in store I have no idea yet.

The butcher is a good friend of many years standing, He's never charged me the full price, If one of his staff are serving me he tells them to knock a bit off too.
