Ooops:
I accidentally gave the first two letters DO.( I meant to say find a 2 letter word meaning Act)
Then I omitted a letter- from Now initially
Then first few letters of CASH
....
I'll leave you in peace for a bit Kelly for you to work some of the rest out yourself.
If you are going to make any more suggestions for answers you have thought of I suggest you think about whether you can justify them and if so set out your explanation for us to consider if you are not 100% sure.
Missed the letter count factor thanks. That’s my final input because this is a complete nonsense. A little a la desktop in my opinion. Not the person just the MO. Constant posts, and ignoring responses.
It's the stuff of nightmares.

Hi, thankyou for your answer and help, is the answer to Q 36 Doncaster, also ive thought of some more answers listed below with the explanations for why ive thought of them:

24. Unendingly spotless alongside novice within social order (12) (2 words). Answer i thought: Maiden Castle (reason in answer: maiden might mean clean)
23. ...and includes two sizes for nothing! (10) Answer i thought: Bolling Hall (reason in answer: big in bolling and all in hall meaning all or nothing)
25. Extracted from earth or peat moss (10) Answers i thought: Barley Hall (reason in answer: barley extracted from peat moss and earth) or the other answer: Brackenhall.
27. Possessed one point lead (8) (2 words). Answers i thought: Hove Edge or Hade Edge (reason in answer have or had meaning possess and edge meaning having a lead)
31. Confuse mongrel with potholes (17) (3 words) Answer i thought: Craven Pothole Club (reason in answer: pothole is in answer, cur is in answer; Stump Cross which is an abbreviation of cur meaning mongrel) or the other answer Stump Cross Caverns as its an anagram
32. Small man swallows two thirds of mollusc (7). Answer i thought: Swaithe (reason in answer s = small, wait = waif for small man, swa = swallow and sai might mean two thirds of snail/ mollusc).

If anyone can please help me out with the correct answers and check my answers for me i would again be really thankful, ive tried really hard working the correct answers out but im struggling with finding the correct solutions, thanks again,

The stuff of nightmares indeed. We have answered two of these already today. And some suggested answers don't match letter counts.
Stump Cross Caverns is not an anagram by the way

Hi, sorry about accidentally posting Q 25 again in my last post i know it's already being answered correctly by members on here, also im sorry i didnt see the last post before as well about the Q 22. Badly shaken female with love to stop (11) (2 words), thankyou for the help with it im still really struggling with finding the correct answer though. Does anyone know the correct answer for it and for the rest of the questions that haven't been solved, thankyou again for all the help,
Have you sent yours in now, Kelly?
Question Author
Hi, im just about to, did you find any more answers, thanks again for your help,
Sorry got to go to work shortly. Will look in this evening. Did you solve any more?
Question Author
Hi, unfortunately i din't manage to solve any more but did you get my last post before with some of my answers with the reasons i thought of for them, do you know the correct answers for them or are some of the answers i worked out correct, thankyou again for all the help,
24 is not maiden castle. It was answered earlier. It is/was an alternative name for a particular pub I think
And Ia gree with Doncaster even though I hink the wordplay based on your clue suggests the non-existent Doncastor
Contribution for today

24 Whit(e) is unending spotless.
By is alongside.
Caste is a social order, and include
L a novice.

36 Do is act
N is now initially
Cas is most of cash
T is the start of to
Er is re (about) turned round.
Thanks dave. I got Doncaster but was unsure about the TER bit- never thought of RE for roundabout.
Some of these clues are pretty tough, even for experienced solvers, which may be some consolation for kelly.
For example:
32. Small man swallows two thirds of mollusc

I haven't been able to solve this one yet. Small man coud be lad, boy or son, or S for small + he/him, or an abbreviated name.
The mollusc should be a 3, 6or 9 letter word- probably 6- so we can use exactly two thirds of it. But I couldn't get anything from anything from limpet, oyster, mussel and a couple more I've forgotten now

Hi, thankyou for your help again, i thought of the answer Swaithe for Q 32 but im not sure about it, a lot of the clues in this quiz are quite tough and im really thankful again for the help with it. Ive handed the quiz in now as the deadline was yesterday and i will let everyone know when it has been marked and how it has gone, thanks again for all the help,
Thanks for the update. I am pretty sure Swaithe is not right but we'll wait and see now. Please let us know the answers to the remaining ones when you get them
