sorry you should multiply it by 50 not 5, and when subtracting your year of birth it should be four digit eg. 1975 etc.

Mulitplying (the added) five by 50 then adding the product to 1755 gives 2005 - this year. For anyone having had a birthday this year, 2005 is the sum of their age plus date of birth (eg 21 plus 1984). Thus deducting their age gives their date of birth - the second and third figures of the final answer.
For anyone not having had their birthday, 1754 is added in your calculations as their age plus date of birth adds up to 2004.
