First of all let me thank everybody for your Good Wishes on our 6oth W.A. I am now walking in the same circles as jno i.e. after a phone call to Buckingham Palace (made by daughter) we have received a Congratulatory Letter and Photo of the Queen and also one from the Governor -General of Australia and one from our Prime Minister on the occasion of Our Diamond...

do you know it's so cold here tonight you can see your breath, it's only the first week of August :o(
Whoa Robi that's colder than here. But I did have to dig some socks out yesterday night. Couldn't see the toe beer steaming though. ('Toe beer' is what we call sweaty feet sweat over here:)

He he Vinny isn't it funny that you're too old to remember the name of the Stockholm girl who said you looked youthful>>>>>> (What's she doing at your neighbour's?)

Jaysus, I had 58 lolcats in my Google reader... and this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0iM5K9Ejfk

G'night biddies, I missed you:)
Robi you have all my sympathy (and Charlie) when the boys were younger, they had a spate of passing tum upsets back and forth...at one stage we just about camped at the vets and I bulk cooked boiled chicken and rice and kept it in portions in the freezer, also kept on hand some stuff called Protexin which costs an arm and a leg but is very good for bad tums.
Hello everyone else (special hi for Shaney if you are reading this)...zizz time now, laters all.
Morning all, I'm returning my laptop in a couple of hours to see if the bookmarks/favourites can be restored. Beware, Firefox users: Firefox doesn't include them in the basic back-up copying process, it has to be done manually and separately somehow. Don't know how long this will take - sounded like days when I spoke to the internet cafe guy.

Shaney whatever it is that is going on - Mr S? - I'm thinking of you both.

And of everybiddy else.

jno did you see the new guy over at St Biddies' http://i33.tinypic.com/hrihp4.jpg

Love yous!
yup, that was him all right... but at least they didn't hire David Bailey.
morning....zzzzzzzzz
Finally went to bed for a few hrs but only slept for 2, as much to do do with not feeling well myself as it was for worrying about Charlie. He'd been ok but he's jaded now, he's empty poor lad. I remember the trouble your lads had woofy...and they're big lads! I can't give Chas chicken, goes right through, so it'll be a bit of plain rice later if he seems hungry. He sees that as a treat he loves it.

Hope they get your computer sorted quickly Kit.

Thinking of you shaney.
Oh poor little Charlie. Can he take plain boiled white fish? I usually microwave some frozen pollock or coley fillets in water for Meggie and mix the white boiled rice in with the fish and fishy water.

See you folks soon. It's bright sunshine, but rain is forecast. It's definitely autumnal here. Am going to try and get a walk in with Meggie before the rain comes.

X For Mr and Mrs S. Always thinking of you.
Yes Lottie, even the blackbirds are making that pitiful little call that they do in autumn/winter, it sounds like a whistled sigh, haha...I know how they feel.

And it's piddling down in Wooly, so we won't let Vinny tell us otherwise
We have fleas in our house and are being bitten. Both cat and dog are treated regularly and have no sign of them, so they must be in the carpets, sofa, ugh!! I will have to purchase some flea bombs. I itch. I have also decided that the rash up my right arm is from brushing against some ivy when I turned the outside tap on yesterday.

Roll on winter!!
Oh you popped in very quickloy there Robi!!
quickloy?...love the Brummy accent Lottie :o)
<squirts Flit round...> fleas, ugh!
he, he. Wonder whether Swedie will get her dictionary out!!
Lovely weather again...:O)tis sort of sunny and rainyish at the same time with a few rainbows chucked in and its been close(that last bit tis true)she's a student kip and i did get her with me water pistol...the age thingy was a joke cos I was ...i'll get me coat..:O)I havent seen her since but there's tons of spanish about. They dont look when they cross the bloomin roads..tut bloomin tut..!anyways keeping me fingers crossed for shaney and little charlie...laters>>>

Was just doing a boom, boom! back Vinny... anyway, you behave now, now you know how close Stockholm is to your beaches - I could just nip over and just generally put the fear of god in you he he, no trouble at all http://i37.tinypic.com/2q9gihc.jpg (let it load)

Okay folks, I'm off again:(
still no rain here, even the camels are looking thirsty,

not sure if the site is the cheapest, our vet stocks it so I get it local.

have used it 3 times now, the first time when DH came home with fleas and gave them to the dog, I kid you not, he used an infested taxi. The second time when I did a home visit with a hospital patient and their house was infested..that was so no fun as you can imagine. the third time was when we brought the boys home. I was sat in the back of the car with them in a box or on my lap, giving them loads of cuddles when I noticed moving things in the fur...kept picking them off and squashing them in a wetted tissue and didn't tell DH till we got home as I wanted him to be thinking about his driving. Anyway you spray around and leave everywhere for about half an hour. One can will do a good sized 4 bedroom house and two cars and leave some over.
Thats just a sea mist..silly old biddy hehe...!(:O)
Wow, thanks Woofy. I will ask our local animal supplies place if they stock it when I go out later. If not I will order some. Much appreciated. All the throws are on the washing line now.

The fleas may well have come when we introduced Molly into the house. I haven't seen any jumping about and there is no flea dirt on either of my animals.

It's still sunny - no seamist yet!! ;o)
Woofie, I just ordered some Gentrex RIP from Paws 24-7. I did it by phone as I wanted to check it was in stock and they were so helpful. No delivery charges either. The local place didn't have any and it will be a lot more expensive at our vets if they do have it!! It will come tomorrow, together with some more frontline. Brilliant service and nice people.
