Sorry,should also have asked this one.American coin & nine has delta in nature call (9) Assume is Centipede? but can't quite see where nine comes from. Also clue 21 is it Leaches or Leeches?

Thanks Danny for both answers.The question of Leeches though is that Meadow gives Lea as opposed to away from the wind which gives Lee.

I can't really see leach as being correct:-

Chambers gives leach as a Spenserian form of leech, but that is a bit too obscure I would have thought.

I have queried Q21 with the setter.She says she will accept either spelling as the clue should have included we hear so as to lead to Leeches.
