Thanks to you all for your suggestions. Mallyh, I can see pitch fork, a fork in the road and The Two Ronnies four candles! I would never have thought of that! Chipchopper, I'm not sure of hoan - you hone a blade so I wonder if that's the answer? That would be sharp. Axe is a good answer for 26. Thanks!

Sorry cashier, I didn't see your answers when I replied earlier, thanks. I did wonder about scissors for 16 as Patrick Grant is a tailor. Not 100% about twister, is it a tool? It's an answer if I can't find any alternative. Thanks
