looking, Milo tips five-sixths of Maisy's water into his bowl, filling it completely. If there is a total of 368 ml of water in the two bowls, hold much does Milo's bowl hold when full?
How is the answer 320ml arrived at?

If Milo's bowl holds 320ml then he starts with 80ml (one quarter) so 240ml is transferred from Maisy who starts with 288ml (368 - 80). 5/6ths of 288 = 240. The mention of 4/5ths is irrelevant.
Let A = the amount in Milo's cup and B = the amount in Maisys cup
Therefore A + B = 368

As Milo's cupis one quarter full, we know that the amount tipped from Maisy's cup is 3/4 of the capacity or simply 3A

Therefore 5/6 B = 3A
A = 5/18 B
5/18 B + B = 368
23/18 B = 368
B = 288
Therefore A = 368 - 288 = 80
80 is a quarter of the capacity so the capacity = 4 * 80 = 320
