Good evening, all!

Using the Met Office's way of defining the seasons, today is the first day of autumn. That leads me to ask, "WHO STOLE SUMMER?"

Moving onto the quiz, I managed to score a decent (in my opinion) FIVE out of seven in the main quiz this week:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-66670611

I could only achieve a lowly TWO out of five in the junior quiz though:

Sadly, there seems to be no Timed Teaser quiz this week :(

Your turn, anyway!

Good evening. A not very good 3 and a better 4 for the kids for me this week. Just as well there's no timed, I suspect it would not be a good score for me!

Welcome to the Super Seven Club, Roo!
The child in me triumphs again, 1 in the main quiz, 3 in the junior - must be this second childhood they all talk about LOL.
Question Author
Are you sure that you really ever left your first childhood though, Canary42?

;-)
5 and 4 this week.
Question Author
Well done, Ken!

Very impressive and out in the lead!
Early doors, Chris.
Very dismal 1 and 3.

I’m sure my local carnival has been going much longer than Notting Hill’s, but perhaps it’s just not quite as exciting…
Question Author
I bet you'd look good in a carnival costume though, Clover ;-)

Evening Chris.

3/7

4/5

talked myself out of a perfect five in the junior quiz :(

Hope this finds you well ; ))
Question Author
Hi, Sam.

I'm sure that you're perfect in many other ways anyway ;-)
5/7 v 1/7 !!!
2/5 v 2/5
Summer's back next week I hear !
Shady is being a pain tonight:
every time I move from my barstool (the one with a cushion) to replenish wine ,nuts, crisps etc., he hops on and the language when he is ejected would surprise
you. Hope your three are behaving and that you are feeling OK :-))
3/7,3/5. Consistency if not quality. Hectic week with the kitties, Magic and Norman’s humans have returned today. Puss Puss and Bailey happy to have their own human to themselves now. Hope all is good with you and yours for the sunny week ahead
Question Author
Oh well, at least you avoided any zero scores, Haras2 ;-)

I wouldn't know what noise a cat makes when one moves him/her from a favourite position; I've never dared to try!

You're obviously having a good evening if it involves wine, nuts and crisps. So I assume (and certainly hope) that you're in fine fettle. (That goes for Shady too, of course).

My lot are just as lovely/annoying as always, thank you. I'm feeling good too because, following on from several rather worrying PSA scores, my consultant finally seems to have found a treatment that's bringing my cancer back under control again. So you might have to put up with me for a bit longer yet!
;-)
6/7 - stupid time capsule
4/5 - stupid giraffe
Question Author
Almost perfect - twice over - Lie-in King!

Well done!
21.33 That's really good news :-))
Question Author
Thanks, Haras2 :-)
0/7, 2/5. Disaster!
Question Author
Oops! I somehow managed to miss Campbellking there. Sorry about that!

I'm glad that Puss Puss and Bailey no longer have to share you with two other cats. I hope that you've given them lots of extra treats by way of apology for sharing your affections ;-)

We're all fine, thanks. (See 2133). I hope that you and your feline bosses will have a lovely week!

Oh dear, Caran! Better luck next week!
