I'm stumped. Any answers? And, in general, are we saying that Troubador(s) is an error because fire is correct but doesn't fit? Oh dear!

since when was troubadour a plural? it certainly isn't in the shorter oxford or any of my other 18 dictionaries

9d I think troubadour is used here as an adjective ie 'the troubadour poets'
