Hi Clare

Rgds Al

The answer you want for this one is John Walker

Hi Razza This will give Clare something to think about

On 6 August, Halberg ran a mile race in Dublin at the famous Santry Stadium. It proved one of the greatest in history. Australian Herb Elliott shattered the World record with 3m 54.5s with Halberg becoming New Zealand's first sub four minute miler when he ran 3m 57.5s for fourth. The following day he ran a World best time for 4 miles recording 18m 22.6s.

Correct big Al ,this is an instance where the quizmaster has got it slightly wrong and walker is the name required for the connection.
Razza Thanks for that. Was'nt sure myself until I re-checked on another site. I did'nt want to attempt to overule but I thought it was worth a try. Once again thanks and take care Al
