Does anyone know the name of the book which tells the story of the James Bulger killing, the little boy who was abducted & killed by two teenage boys in Liverpool? It's an old book i think and cant seem to find it anywhere. Thanks!

the little monster s who killed james bulger were just ten years old, although that doe'nt excuse the hideous crime they commited, just thought i'd point that out. usually i dont get shocked by that sort of thing in the news, but when i read the story in the paper i cried buckets even though i never new him, i think mothers everywhee probably shed a tear too. anyway enough rambling, hope you find the book.

There is also "As If" by Blake Morrison which is listed on Amazon.
I have the book (Every Mother's Nightmare) at home from a second hand shop and I find it to be a very powerful read.... most of us know a child of around that age at some point in our lives and even if we don't, we can all make some kind of connection although it could only be a fraction of what his parents were going through.
