SS2 ... I have Hereford for something else, so not sure about that one.
I cannot understand why I could not get some of those. I thought I was getting better at cryptic but will really have to buck up on my anagram skills !

'Fiendish ! ' shaney ... you cant blame me for the Samaritans one, I didn't set that one, just posted them. Now on the other hand, Cransley is one of mine and thankyou, I thought you would like this one !!!!! ... lol ... xx
PS I think fiendish means 'joy of joy EK it's a lovely one and it will be a pleasure to finish ' or words to that effect. xx
I have finished the Samaritans one..all bar one answer ..but am really having to rack my brains on the Cransley one .well done on setting such an interesting quiz.
I don't think I am going to be able to finish it somehow !

Glad it's not just me that struggling with this quiz. I'm stuck on Nos. 15, 17, 41, 48, 56 and 62. Not too sure of some answers but if you want to swap that's fine with me.

I like your Rum Sauce and will go with that. No. 12 I thought TREE as it's within the sentence and No.14 I have CARD - end of vicar is CAR and D is the first letter of dress.

Hi Arabesque ... I like your answers. I am trying to get to grips with cryptic but I think I'm trying too hard and missing the ones staring me in the face !
I'm nowhere near finishing the songs and carols
Still missing 41, 44, 48,
Hymns still missing 52, 55, 56, 57, 60
I have heard of all the ones I have got so I am running through the popular ones ... at the moment. xx
