If two darts are thrown into a dartboard and both score, in how many different ways could their total be 15? (The order of scoring is immaterial)

Spot on, mac44. In your first block of answers I think you meant to write 5&double5 and not 5&treble5.
I'll set out my order of possibilities;
(14,1 D7,1) (13,2 13,D1) (12,3 12,T1 D6,3 D6,T1 T4,3 T4,T1) (11,4 11,D2) (10,5 D5,5) (9,6 9,D3 9,T2 T3,6 T3,D3, T3,T2) (8,7 D4,7)
I set it in the newsletter of one of the clubs I belong to, as a Christmas puzzle with a prize which I was prepared to donate. No one solved it, so my wife and I enjoyed what was a very pleasant bottle of cabernet sauvignon.
Hi mohill.
Of course you are correct, it was meant to be 5&double5.
It was very early and the fingers were ahead of the brain.
