I'm delighted to be back on line in time to get this months as I completely missed out on the closing date last month. It is now available but I haven't got a clue how to start!!!

I don't want any answers please - just some hints on how to begin!

I am just collecting the answers first then I will look at how to fit them into the grid. Good Luck
There are two clues with 13 letters which must fit in the right hand grid. Similarly there are two with 12 letters which are the left grid.
One of the 13 letter clues has a K in a position that only interlocks with one down clue.
Hope that helps
Just don't panic - it's nowhere near as tricky as it sounds.
Where is the web site for The Generalist, please?
Kayakamina. I've got the answers for K and Z but don't know where they should go. Please help. Does the K answer go at the near-top left-hand corner or at the near-bottom left-hand corner. If I knew where to put them it might help. Also the K that I have for the J clue wouldn't fit with 1 down but would give me a K for what I presume is 2 down.
I just know that you'll be able to clarify it for me.
Oice I think you have misunderstood my hint. When I said 'one down clue' I didn't mean 1down as the grid isn't numbered- but 'a down clue'
Z fits near the top left and K near bottom right on the left grid.
Hope that helps. K
Thank you Kayakamina.
I think I now know where I'm going or hope to go with this type of crossword which, actually, I have never seen before.
As always, you have been most helpful and I appreciate it.

You're right. I think it was just rabbit in headlights time but when I sat and annalysed it I realised that all(!) you have to do is work out the clues first and then treat it like a Word Jig!! I might even get it finished by the closing date.

Got it in one, macpark !!
Thank you JimJools, I have printed it off, and will have a go at it between visitors and Christmas preparations, hopefully!!
