MM Links game... a suggestion
4 Answers
While looking at some banter between crofter and JimJools last week ,it occured to me that a "wild card" bonus point might add a little spice. This could be awarded at the start of play by the setter and be completely capricious.
It could be awarded for the best / wittiest answer the previous week, the best wrong answer ( here I would like to nominate crofter's answer to the dreadfully recurrent "bristly thighs" question ),most careless (me - mixing up Josef Mengele with Adolf Hitler) or any other category.
Bribery , nepotism ,blackmail and sycophancy all allowed!Just off to Ireland for a few days.
Fully expect to be shot down , and will survey wreckage on my return !

The upshot was that the general consensus was to keep things as they were for the present. In view of the amount of time it takes at this simple level, I would tend to agree!
As for my answer based on Miss Piggy's "bristly thighs", that was a serious attempt at a strange question which I was meeting for the first time (and without the aid of options (a) (b) (c) )!
Please consider yourself duly "shot down" with wreckage strewn for miles! Enjoy Ireland and I hope to receive your predictions for the second round of the MM Links Game on Saturday (kick off 9.00).
