1d. Nematoda that may be free or parasitic in plants (7)

This thread ran into the ground two hours ago. Are there any new views as to whether it is Eel, Web, Dew, or Red -worm??

This is the definition from OneLook.com:
Eelworm - any of various small free-living plant-parasitic roundworms.
I didn't see the earlier thread, but I think some people are confused here. Of the four choices given, only eelworms are nematodes. The others are either annelid (segmented) worms, or larval arthropods.

gen2, an earlier answerer suggested that nematoda were distinct from nematodes. Chambers is, for once, unhelpful.
