Been trying since Mazie's first post, teacher1. They won't let me in and after six closely typed pages of e-mailed instructions I still get sign in failed. So I've given up!
Would you be referring to www.msnusers.com/AnswerBack by any chance? It is quiet there as well today.

Yes. That's the one. Weather being nice everyone must be out enjoying the sunshine !
I'm with Aquagility. I gave up after numerous tries at signing in. Not user friendly enough for me and I can't find my way around on that site. I like my computer time to be uncomplicated and I get ticked off trying to argue with a machine. So, no. I'm not with the Answer Back gang. The bl???y machine is barring my entry.
Did you both open a hot mail account?
Yes, Rogerr I did.
I had a Hotmail account once for mail and scrapped that too as I don't like that particular site at all. I went to Yahoo.
But, yes, I do have a Hotmail account.
I don't have a hotmail account but can get on the site okay. Must admit I find it slow but haven't really explored all the options so a bit unfair to judge it too harshly. Have now posted a new general discussion on it.
I used mine to log in to Aback and used the same password and it worked fine.
I was totally hopeless finding my way about at first--but it does get easier with use.
I just signed in and it says I am a member, but I don't know how to reply to questions or anything like that. I have tried in the past and just gave up. I'm not very computer savvy so perhaps Hotmail is not the site for me.
I don't have a Hotmail account either, just another complication. Plus they want me to lower my level of security - and enable cookies.

One very serious complaint that I have is this. While making one of my many attempts to sign in, I decided to start afresh with a new account application. Before I could type in my email address, up popped the address of someone else with my ( rather unusual) surname. I know this man, but I did not know his email address. I do now!.

Worrying, no?

Yes, I allowed an acquaintance to check his e-mails on my computer and this popped up on Answer Back when I logged in (for the first time in ages) today.
I did wanser into the site but decided not to register as I spend far too much time on the computer already that I don't need anymore excuses!

After aquagility's first post on this thread at 16:42, I thought I'd be helpful and do the signing up on his behalf and send him the details. I thought I had his email address but it turns out I don't so will have to wait until I can get it from Mazie. If you are reading this Aquagility, help will shortly be on its way. Or contact:

[email protected]
I have it now thanks.
It was a kindly thought, gen2, but it seems to have created still more muddle, in my mind at least. My reply to your email should be with you by now.

Thanks, anyway.
