For the last one , think of a film featuring the second world war where army convicts were on death row or severe prison sentences . Irish surname ? Hope that's enough and not too much of a clue .

For the second one , my stepson informs me that in a cult tv science fiction series that ran for 9 series , one of the stars had the nickname of Spooky . The truth is out there maybe !

Just been ruminating on the answers. Got 1 and 3, I think,

No 2, I have the TV programme but in the show "Spooky" didn't really have a girlfriend. Ummmmmmmmm, a bit more googling me thinks.

Wikipedia has a huge article on the X-files, claiming that 'Spooky' Mulder had 2 girlfriends in the series. Maybe, however, the question authors just want the name of his side kick.
