How is everyone?

Ok so you will be happy to know that the posting limit has been upped!

Users were previously allowed 3 posts in 5 minutes before accounts were automatically suspended however you are now able to post up 10 times in 5 minutes but wait it gets better�Not only can you now post more frequent but if you reach your 10th post, you will receive a warning which will prevent you from posting again for approx a further 2 minutes. User accounts will no longer be automatically suspended for excessive posting.

I'm hoping this will be particularly beneficial to the Q and P section as you're pretty quick thinkers and could probably do with another 7 posts in the 5 minute time frame.

Hooray ! We have been listened to.

It is down to AB pressure. Thanks to all those who e-mailed the editor regarding the suspensions to Aquagility and Sarumite and my threatened suspension.

Would it be asking too much if this rule could be included in the Site Rules?

Dear Editor. Thank you very much for sorting this out for us all.
Would it be greedy if I asked you now to turn your attention to the Search facility which has always been less than adequate but now is almost totally unhelpful.

Yes Aquagility it will be added to the Site Rules and as for the search facility I'll take a look at it.

Anyone having problems with the search tool if you could please take 2 minutes to stick it in an email and I can address it with technical.

Thank you for responding positively to this very real issue for those of us on Quizzes and Puzzles. And I add my plea to Kettledrum's re. the search facility. I'm sure some of us will be able to e-mail with problems with this in due course.

Thank you so much for this relaxation of the rules AB Editor, the new time allowance for multiple replies should be perfectly adequate.

I must admit to being most impressed with the recent change of attitude shown by the management team, in relation to their readiness to respond to members suggestions. I believe a <bi>change</bi> of personnel at the helm to be mainly responsible for this?? :o)

When I was temporarily denied access to this site earlier in the year, there was absolutely no reason given, despite several attempts on my behalf to extract information from "The Ivory Tower".

Thanks again for making us feel more than just numbers on a register (S)

Well done, its nice to see common sense prevail, although I would be interested to know what the thinking behind the rule was in the first place.

It was a rule that was already in place before I joined AB but I believe it was to prevent chat on the site.

However it just seemed to end up as one huge admin task on a Monday morning hence its now gone!
