How is everyone?

Ok so you will be happy to know that the posting limit has been upped!

Users were previously allowed 3 posts in 5 minutes before accounts were automatically suspended however you are now able to post up 10 times in 5 minutes but wait it gets better�Not only can you now post more frequent but if you reach your 10th post, you will receive a warning which will prevent you from posting again for approx a further 2 minutes. User accounts will no longer be automatically suspended for excessive posting.

I'm hoping this will be particularly beneficial to the Q and P section as you're pretty quick thinkers and could probably do with another 7 posts in the 5 minute time frame.

Thanks for the relaxation of the rules Ed. As for the search tool problem, I e-mailed the technical department a few weeks ago and received the following response:

***Dear Magyar,

This is a message from the Answerbank Support Team.

We are working of the search facility at the moment, and the search could be affected at that time. We cannot provide any more details at the moment regarding this matter.

We hope you still enjoy the AnswerBank.

It has been about four weeks since the response though, and the search tool still doesn't appear to recognise any entries from the past few months.

I hope I'm not speaking too soon, but I think the search tool might be up and running again. If this is down to you, thanks again Ed.

May I also add my thanks. The gk crosswords are usually done by mrs.b. and me - individually, of course, and I get the last look-in. So I am always grateful to the Master Abbers who have answered clues several hours - or days - earlier. That they will no longer be opunished for giving excellent (unpaid) service is wonerful. Ta ever so.

Thank goodness the powers that be have taken notice of what was requested by the users of this site, nice to know that somebody has let common sense prevail. What a refreshing change!! It now means that our regular helpers are not penalised!
Excellent...and thanks for listening!....and I am sure it was done for the benefit of the users as well as admin!!!....oohh..just bit my tongue!!
