Well, Kate has lulled us into a sense of security and then pulled the rug out completely !!! and obviously AQ has lost his direct line, too

Dandy Brush proved very popular, DizzyLizzie & lysander earning bonus points for this one, then in swooped wickedtongue with Basset Horn and Congo Snake, plus 1 for a total of 5 points and an excellent start to the new month

Not surprisingly, Dove Shell's points went begging and matches were pretty thin on the ground as well, so at the end of the weekend we have

2 points DizzyLizzie, lysander, JMR27, crofter [ of course first Friday is quiz night, isn't it !! ] & keyboardix

In closing - a big welcome back to JRB, you've been missed - I do hope you are quite recovered and the Jersey weather is treating you well.

Yes, Friday night was Quiz Night and it was my turn to be QuizMaster. The winning score was 36/50 (quite low for one of my efforts). One of my questions concerned the way water swirls down the plughole in the UK! At half time, several entrants went off to the loo to check their answer!
