who was he?

Despite a career spanning 14 clubs this diminutive midfielder name will remain synonymous with just one. A sterling citizen, he spent much of the 80s in England's north west before short lived spells with some Rovers, aTown, a United, a City an Albion and some rough riders. A career launched on the banks of the Clyde attracted the interest of an old Bill and a move south followed. In London he became his new club's youngest ever player, a record which still stands today.
