I leave you for two weeks and what do I come back to find? A pile of junk mail in the hall and my shrubs littered with unspeakable rubbish! I'd like to tell you exactly what I found ~ but it's unspeakable! Don't blame Crown Jools . She only set the (reasonable) questions, you lot did the fighting over the points with such (unreasonable) behaviour.

And don't blame gen2. He did a brrrrilliant job trying to keep some sort of order (said in my best Scottish accent) in my absence. However he has left me his spreadsheet (so far) and it reads like an MM Rogues' Gallery with rogerr, Christiana, Grenmus & ulysses100 heading the list and leading new-comer AllyLally astray!

This will be the fourth week in the reign of Crown Jools who has a date this weekend with QE2 (Herself), but more on that tomorrow morning. We still have two rounds to go and anything could happen in the Points Table. Usually, 10 points at the end of any month is a winning score ~ but not this time I suspect. The next MM Champion (whoever they may be) will soon start to assert authority over the proceedings. Will it be the tortoise or the hare (in this case ex-champion rogerr)?

Tonight will be cold and very damp for the Shrubbery Squad, when they will need to be sharp at 09.00 tomorrow morning. With the order of the day being Winter drawers on, thats the time when the MM Link Game is launched by Crown Jools, who sets her four words to be linked by clever prediction or lucky guesswork (it matters not)! She is in total control and will select the theme, the words and the links!

If you think that thats early, the sister game (called KM Links) will be nearly two hours old by the MM launch time! Look out for seekeerz from Oz who looks after the entries and scoring for that parallel game (from the other side of the world).

Good luck for tomorrow, when you will have only two more weeks to make your mark on the game.

:o)
Hi crofter ... good to see you back, but afraid I will be deserting the shrubbery for a couple of hours now to watch 30 grown men fighting over an odd shaped ball !!

I expect the girls will soon be here ... hopefully they will leave a couple of drinks for when I return ... but I can't bank on that, as between you and me they are a rather boozy bunch!!

I will make every effort to restore some form of order when I return !! (S) ☺☺☺
S you have no chance on your own, you will have to bring in some of them men you are going to watch! Just what us drunken laydees need a few beefy men!

Jan...did you take that picture??? Well!!! What can I say!
Crofter...welcome back!!

Sarumite...what puzzles me is where you find 30 'grown' men in one place!! :-)
yes for got to welcome you back crofter, hope you had a good holiday and are now ready to do battle with the abacus again.
Pauline you did notice they are all running away from me but I have my trainers on ready to run after them!

not that sort of trainer silly!
Jan...what are they looking to the left for?...and where did they go on holiday to get white bottoms???
think they are looking where you have stashed the wine!
Perhaps they just put more sun screen on their bottoms than any where else!
Welcome back crofter. I hope that you both had a good holiday, although by now it probably seems a dim and distant memory. And who are you calling a rogue ? As if I would lead anybody astray !!! I may be in the top five but it would be nicer to come to the top of the pile. However I may be in time for the KM links in the morning but I'm afraid that Crown Jools will have to wait until tomorrow evening --- I am out for the day looking at glassworts on the Norfolk coast (samphire to you lot --- but there are many different kinds, and far too late to put on to the dinner plate now).
Jan I am surprised at you putting nudity on the AB, but there are a few shapely buns on show there !
Good luck for the evening ahead.
They'll have to come and search for my wine!!!

Who rubbed the suncream in though??

Wonder if they're on their way to the shrubbery! Think we could 'tackle' a few of them!!

Wonder where everyone is Jan?

Good evening all, have you got room for a little one?
I hope you enjoyed your holiday, Crofter - I'm just back from a perfect week's sailing in Turkey.
Please cool it a little, girls! I've got to get some sleep or we'll never get started in the morning. Sweet dreams!
glad you enjoyed Turkey Aq nice to see you back safe and sound.
Pauline if they are on their way we had better have a cunning plan to capture them,
Hope the others have not captured them already and are hiding them!
Hi Aquagility!!! What a lovely surprise! Glad you had a lovely time.
Was it the excitement of being with us women that brought you into the shrubbery???
Hey Jan.... imagine Aquagility and Sarumite's faces when they are confronted in the shrubbery by them?
Hope there isn't a scrum!!
we can always hide then at the far end Pauline, i wont tell if you don't
jan
I was sitting here minding my own business in the shrubbery shed when suddenly the door flew open and in ran a mob of naked men from the local naturist camp. Apparently below standard sausages were bought for the bar b cue and they started exploding all over the cooks, hence the stampede!!!!!!! They seem like a nice lot of boys but it's a bit crowded in here . Where are you Jan and Pauline?
Sorry , welcome back Crofter. I have been away to Brixham for a few days so I missed last week but have yet to score anyway.Apparently my elder daughter had a try last week but she failed to score either!!!
I'm back Kay!!!
Hey Kay...she should be in the shrubbery tonight!!!
Lindsey and husband have just gone home to put Evie to bed. It's been a mad house here this afternoon and evening, the tiler still working, nicky and 2 boys from Brixham are here for weekend then James (son) Sarah and their 18 month old daughter Mathilda came over too so it was a complete houseful!!!!!! Emotional for me too but I'm OK
Just as well I noticed jan's mob ..... cor blimey that was a near miss!! ... now, as you lot have finished all the wine, I'm off to the far end of the shrubbery to be pampered by .....
