MM Links Sept 2007 [Week 5]

I think I am back into my routine after my two-week break in Tenerife ~ thanks to gen2 for the excellent cover during my absence. Tomorrow morning, Crown Jools will be in transit from the Isle of Wight, so I have been given responsibility for launching her final set of words to be linked.

By Sunday evening, there will be a brand new MM champion with the honour of setting the Link Words throughout the month of October. For different reasons, ex-champions Christiana & rogerr will be taken out of the equation: the first because she was a very recent winner and the second because she has opted so to do. In fact, rogerr was eligible for a second reign (there is no automatic lifetime ban on ex-champions) but for the sake of variety she has abdicated in advance! This selfless act has opened the field for an exciting finish.

My connection keeps going off...so if I disappear do not laugh!...look for me...might have been kidnapped to stop me winning outright the links tomorrow! Jools could make her links to do with her holiday to the isle of Wight...might be British Holiday places or islands!!

Sorry had to disappear again myself ... but problems sorted now so can relax!
I reckon you could become a rugby convert Pauline ... but you need to learn such cultural things as the referee always being addressed as "Sir" .. even when being mildly abusive towards him .. and you also have to drink several pints of real ale before, during and after the matches!! (S)

Hello again. I though no one was about so got into sorting out the cupboards in my new kitchen and lost track of the time. The rugby team have just gone home and I've put my ferrets to bed (this ferret thing is getting very addictive!!!) I know Laney has gone to bed but am so pleased Alan is home. Will go to other in a minute to send her a message.Will be late posting again tomorrow as I am going to a car boot (if its not raining) But I scored last week and didn't post until about 4.30pm and that's the first time I've scored for weeks!!!!

Kay ...did you check their pants for hidden ferrets?..ah see they could hide anything down there!

I was going to ask that Sarumite, but being a Lady!!!...yes where DID that Crofter run off to?...and where is Aqua?..and gen2?...You're the only man with real Rugby Balls Sarumite!!!...they are cowards!...especially Crofter...how I feel so sorry for the long suffering Valerie!

Hello to the faithful few skulking in the shrubbery. I do hope Pauline hasn't been kidnapped. The shrubbery can be a daunting place at night, what with cunning disguises, hordes of naked men, strange ball games.

Just have to nip off for a minute there's a naked rugby player at the door looking for a ferret!!!! Back soon.

Hi Christiana...got your e-mail..will reply tomorrow. When are you popping into Manchester?? Will you have time to meet?...or you can stay here for a night's rest if you like before driving to Lincoln. I have friends in Saxilby..and yes it is a trek...there isn't a really direct way there. Let me know!
We are only half an hour, if that from airport,...anyway let's talk soon, but think about it!...
in the meantime...what do you think they are all up to? I was really scared on my own before!!...you never know who's going to sneak up behind you!

The men will all be playing with their toys, I expect - Sarumite trying on various costumes, Aqua sailing his boats on the pond, and Gen 2 - not too sure about Gen 2. Perhaps refighting a major battle with lead soldiers.
But what will the slivey toves be doing in the pond, that's what worries me. Some say they gyre and gimbal - doesn't sound too good, does it?

I am always burning the midnight oil!...and I usually score nothing in the morning....no comments on scoring tonight please!!
