MM & KM Links November 2007 [Week 4]

This will be the final week in the reign of Queen Jan the First and Foremost and she promises to be more transparent this week. "BOGOF" I hear Strix cry in anguish! Let's wait and see what tomorrow brings. Certainly, it's such an open field that nobody (but NO body) dares miss the launch! With so few points on the score board, bonus points for early hits become precious.

More than usual, the place to be is pole position in the Shrubbery and compos mentis ~ so that rules out sarumite for a start! My money's on evsajo who would like to emulate her MUCH older brother, bugers (oh dear I've not spelt that correctly!). I think that I've got an attack of Strix-itis!

So I'll see you tomorrow at 9.00 in the morning, when the MM Link Game should be launched by Queen Jan the Crystal Clear, who will set her four words to be linked! Insomniacs Anonymous meet up about 06.30 for the launch of the sister game (called KM links)! Look out for seekeerz from Oz who provides the marmite sarnies and tinnies for the early emus ~ and does the scoring for that parallel game.

"Early Emus" is an example of a DOUBLE DECKER! "What's one of those"?

It was good of you to load the bus up with food and drink crofter, and there is more space in the shrubbery now we are on Beta

I had asked Seekeerz to apologise for my absence from the fray �e soir but forgot the time difference between here and there.

And as Australia is asleep I feel I must spring to the defence of Seekeerz's fine reputation. A lady of her standing, I am sure, would not be ingesting Marmite sarnies and imbibing tinnies. It would, surely, be Vegemite on Melba toast with a "little" chilled Sauvignon. (or maybe, crofter, a wee tass of tea!).

When full of Dutch courage this participant in the festivities of the Undergrowth is having to beg mercy to tonight's gathering as he is somewhat short of shut-eye having just returned, driving overnight, from working and gourmandising in the Auvergne.

Thus Strix will be no night owl nor insomniac tonight but, rather, demain, a somnambulist.

Please don't maul Sarumite too much we need the link words as betimes as poss in the morn.

Do you know I have never tried mulled wine...just don;t fancy it...don't know why. Maybe it's because it's alcoholic and I'm teetotaller...hmmm!!

Look here you lot, I'm the expert on double-deckers TD4's and TD5's, Lodekkas, Bristols and Leylands of all shapes and sizes!!

Now you know why that man above, from the croft, doubts my sanity ... oohh well let's see what's happening in the hidden depths of the shrubbery tonight!!

S the mince pies have gone and I am trying to tempt pauline into trying mulled wine, it is much warmer on this bus, can you drive the bus Sarumite? AS then we could go somwhere nice.

They'll be the men's Jan!...Don't know about you..I used to just hate counting songs to sing with the girls ..they used to really bore me...and so now when they want to get their own back on me they start with 100 green bottles!!! :-((
