I am not sure but there was a dining car built by Pullman in 1868 for the chicago and alton railroad and it was called the Delmonico .

Bibster since asking my questions I have located the following re a dining car. Canada Great Western Railway Pullman carridge called The President first used in 1867.
So many different options on this quiz.
My paperwork is in such a mess with crossings out and tippex I think the marker will need a prize for just looking throuigh my answer sheets.
Like you say there are so many different answers to a lot of the questions in this quiz so who knows which one to put .In section 14 there is a castle called sandal so i wonder if that could be the answer after all.

It seems to be what everyone else is saying, but it is still niggling me but might have to go with it in the end.,but not giving up yet. Will let you know if I have further thoughts on the subject
