azed crossword

I see the above crossword mentioned from time to time. Could someone please tell me which paper it is in and how difficult it is in relation to, say, the Mephisto. Thanks

The Azed is in The Observer, the Sunday equivalent of The Guardian. Personally, I always feel it has much more 'wit', for want of a better word, though its answers are generally words of equal difficulty/obscurity to those in the Mephisto.

JMR I have been doing Azed for more years than I can remember and can highly recommend it.

It is more difficult than Mephisto, and I agree with QM1 that is wittier and more enjoyable.
