MM Links Solutions February 2008 [Week 3]

King Fordward was reminiscing again this week and that formed the basis of the four declared words. Did that also apply to his chosen pairings? Hold your breath no longer as you are about to find out.

I can now reveal that the links he chose were:

We have dinner guests this evening so I will be fairly brief this weekend and stick to the facts you want to hear.

First to score with 2 points was evsajo who chose FLIGHT PATH. Within 2 minutes ulysses100, bridgenut, Freebi2, JimJools-Jools & seekeerz all picked up a bonus for the same match.

The second pairing of TOP BRASS fell to paulineward as entrant 10 at 9:02! (some initial rush that was - 11 in the first minute!) 2 points.

The third to be matched was FIRE GUARD at 9:03 when JOOLS of JimJools picked up another 2 points for 4 in total.

The final pair of SUMMER CAMP lasted until 9:38 when it was snapped up by sarumite (2 point).

Amongst the scattering of single point scorers was just one double-hitter, Magyar who managed 2 points.

This means that the '*** HOTSHOT OF THE WEEK ***' goes to the 4 point scoring double hitter JOOLS '*** CONGRATULATIONS ***'.

It is anyone's guess what will happen next week. Will you need logical thought? or gut instinct? Will King Fordward stick with a similar theme or will he strike out in a new direction? All will be revealed in a week's time.

Again I got nil points - at least I'm consistent.
I thought I was onto a winner this week, but once again my mind-reading proved that to be completely wrong.

Wow !! a whopping two points this week and the first time since MM started that I've actually been mentioned in dispatches !!!! how long has it taken ??? oh don't ask, and probably will never happen again, oh dear, the strains too much, will have to lie down with a strong cuppa !!!

Only just checked links and find I scored 2 points but what has Gen2 got against me? (joke) I got 2 points last week for Sandpiper but I'm not on the leader board!!!

You are of course correct evsajo. My humblest apologies. All your points were recorded in the table but a typo meant that someone called evasjo was credited with your two points last week and this week's points went to evsajo so two entrants with 2 points each instead of one person on 4.

Indeed b>evsajo, you should be there alongside Dustybun, Jools & sarumite on 4 points.
