MM and KM Links March 2008 [Week 2]

Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!

Welcome to this second week in the reign of Lady Alex, who will appear in person tomorrow ~ having been out of the country on state business! I expect that you will have lined up a real Shrubbery Welcome for her as befitting a new monarch.

Last week was somewhat subdued (in the absence of some notable rabble-rousers). It doesn't take long to work out who causes all the noise! Tonight is Quiz Night at the Cricket Club and it's my turn as Quiz Master. I have based tonight's Quiz on Alphabetic Double Deckers with the first answer starting with AA, the second with BB, etc. I might as well kill two birds with one stone!

Went a bit wrong but always wondered how everyone could put their bottles of wine etc. on here. I can even do music from Youtube (well I could last night and it was VERY late)

I'm not brave enough to face her Majesty, plus evsajo, jan and the others of the distaff side's wrath, so I'm running scared ( where are you Sarumite when I need back up support)? and am now scuffling off to don my py-jams and dive into bed with the pillow over my ears to hide the "ladiees" internet protests of innocence.

So a quick noggin or two - then hit the pillow and zzzzzzz

Hello everyone!

I just got home after a very interesting evening spent at the local International Women's Centre Fashion show and general shindig. It was complete with African Drummers and Belly Dancers, so I'm awash with culture and have a ringing in my ears. No alcohol, though, but I am about to rectify that shortly.
I've had a lot of help from crofter, for which i am very grateful,so hope that all will go well tomorrow when I make my posting. I'm sure you'll all forgive me if I make a mess of it on my first go.
