Welcome to you all from 'The Dinky Duke'. I have been bestowed with the honour of setting the Link words throughout the month of June (even though , technically, today is still in May). I wish you luck with your predictions and hope that your instincts take you down the correct paths.

I read with interest Lady Judy�s account of her visit to St. Andrews. I spent several summers there in the 1970s playing in the Merchants� Boys� Golf Tournament. In those days, a round of golf cost around 30p. I remember climbing to the top of St. Rule�s Tower and enjoying the views of the town and harbour. It was only recently that I read about the �Bottleneck Dungeon� in the castle. It was quite an education as I had never heard of it until then.
However, I digress. Suffice to say that, (as in life) if you try hard with the Link words, your efforts should be rewarded.

According to normal practice, for the everyday running of MM, I will follow the usual rule on word length as introduced by crofter. Each of my pre-selected link words contains at least four letters and at most eight letters. Stray outside this range and you will be wasting one of your attempts!
Each of the selected link words may go in front or behind my challenge word! The competition will officially close on Sunday Evening at 7.00pm, when crofter will declare my pre-selected words and then apply the same rules for awarding points that have been applied during all MM Link Games in the past. My first set of four words to have their links predicted should appear below at 9.00am.
