Where do you get that from, novalis?
Others are saying daffin.
How many letters? Faff seems better.
Just looked up Squarebear's answer and reckon you could with either.
I would still like to know where faffin comes from? Or daffin for that matter?
Daff and faff exist as verbs with similar meaning. Faffing and daffing can be used as nouns. It looks like they want a version of one of them without the g.
I'll be honest -- I think whatever the answer is it's far too obscure.
