MM and KM Links July 2008 [Week 4]

Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!

Welcome to this final week in the reign of Princess Pauline, the Bard from Stockport. This week, she has had more trouble with her foot (her iambic foot!). As far as I know, nothing major is planned so all should go like clockwork. Famous last words!

Today has been almost "summery" and I have spent a little time in the garden. I am ashamed to say that the weeds are still winning the battle by a long chalk. Perhaps this weekend will see a turn in the weather for the better. Still, I hope you find time to stand by in the Shrubbery waiting for the posting, which should appear tomorrow at 8.45am and the four words to be linked should be declared at 9.00am, when MM Links kicks off in earnest. The scores will be totted up for the month of July to determine the next MM Links Champion, who is charged with setting the link words during August.

Don�t forget to look out for the international version of this same game is called KM Links, which has been designed for �Insomniacs Anonymous� and kicks off at the unearthly hour of about 06.30am! Hopefully, my opposite number, seekeerz, will be fully operational tomorrow and encouraged by her high-scoring success of last week. Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?

I have got to pop out in a bit as I am looking after my daughter's cats for the weekend. She (and rest of family) have gone to Brixham but it's not as nice there as it is here. We have had another hot and sunny day and am sitting with the patio doors wide open as it's still very warm.

Sorry to have been away from the Shrubbery, as I said earlier it has been a long and very complicated day.

Part of the day was spent discovering what encouraged so many AB'ers to congregate in Stockport t'other weekend and by a little bit of Googleing and hacking into the intnernet of the emails sent out by their hostess I was able to track down the the little bit of self-promotion that made the decision that prompted them all to travel so far away from there homes.

Definitely Crofter Strix....and believe it or not...his long suffering wife is normal!!!...(and very nice!)....yes a normal person married to Crofter!!!.

I think Reg was away with the fairies by then!!...no actually both Reg and Sarumite actually helped me clear up....I can report to you all that Sarumite can use a hoover!!
