MM and KM Links July 2008 [Week 3]

Welcome to this third week in the reign of Princess Pauline. This month is slipping by at a rate of knots, and what a memorable month it has been. After two years scoring the MM Links Game, I finally got to meet up with some of the "shakers and movers". Pauline, Kay (evsajo) and LaneyB reminded me of theMikado's "Three Little Maids from School".

You may need reminding of the lyrics:

The only phrase I would disagree with is that "they care for everyone"!

The three others, sarumite, gen2 and myself, crofter, were relatively subdued in the presence of the recycled teenagers! One thing for sure, the Fellowship of the Linkers was tangible and has grown strong over the last two years of networking and mutual support.

Ah Pauline, at least Laura has escaped the Minotaur.
But, Sarumite, it would have rather wrecked the legend of Theseus and Ariadne's ball of wool if Theseus had had a satnav!!

Perhaps so Strix ... but thanks to Poseidon, Theseus met his just desserts! And with Bachuus intervening a Sat Nav would hardly be appropriate in those circumstances??

Well you have totally lost me, but I get lost very easily!!!!!
I don't think I would have got home last Saturday without Pauline's SatNav. 1hour 40 mins to get home, 3 hours to get to Paulines!!!!

Sarumite,had a last look before bed and listened to The Beatles. I love that song but it's made me all emotional tonight. I think of this time last week and now it's all gone until we arrange to meet again. I miss being with people, I really am a people person, not that good on my qwn.
