Re submission. Please help - I'm pulling my hair out over the last two questions - the answers are something to do with the Olympics from either the past, present or future!

1 General Behaviour caused his country's ban in the games held in this city (8 letters)
2 Women saw the first light here! (9 letters)

Eventually in 1928 in Amsterdam, the first women competed in 5 athletic events

The answer to 1 must be either Helsinki or Montreal because they are the only host cities with eight letters. Unless we're including the winter games in which case it would be either Chamonix, Grenoble or Sarajevo.

Although I can't see a connection with any of these cities and the clue.
