Struggling with this question in a Christmas Quiz.
It is silver in France & gold in Germany?
Answer is M and has something to do with currency.
Can anyone help

Could be money
I think the answer is simply 'money' since coins in France have a silver colour and in Germany have more of a bronze or gold look.

Thanks for this. Does the French Euro have a silver centre and the German Gold?
Think it may be Mark- as Mark was the currency of Germany before the Euro and on jewellery there is a mark /hallmark on both silver and gold.

Yet, it may well be money too.

Thanks for all replies. Have had a look at the Euros from France and Germany - they are all the same except for design at centre! Answer is probably money but cant see why as yet?
It is Money

Argent in French has the meaning of Money and silver

Geld in German money and Gold
