hello big dave, great to hear from you, hope you are well, thats a rather dapper suirrel, wish he would come up with an answer to the last one!
83 Run from the midst of etc. I have 'at the double' with a ? I can see that 'at the' is he middle of 'rat they' but can't relate 'double' to the rest of the clue.
Also stuck on 73 for which I have an answer I'm not satisfied with.
Christiana - the clue then goes on to say "eAT THEm" thus completing the double .
Christina for 73 I have TOMTOM

Any assistance please with 17, 30 or 60
17--got it this morning! New Zealand flatworm
30 twayblade
60--no idea yet!
Can anyone help with 12, 42, 43, 51, please
Thanks for explanation re. 'at he double' Swannbaker. How silly I didn't see the repeat.
I, too, got New Zealand flatworm this morning!/

The answer I wasn't satisfied with was 'tomtom''. I can see vague connections with various NURSERY rhymes, but that's all.
No. 60. A VIP is someone who is? (6 letters, 1st word) and Amen is? LAST (two) WORDS. The whole answer is '****** Bognor' (something a VIP says on his death bed!)
Rogerr. The girl married someone who will one day be sovereign. Put her with an abbreviation for sovereign. The next word is identical. It is also an abbreviation for 500 + 1 and an abbreviation for thousand.
I haven't got 51 yet either. 43 Word for two, often used of people performing (3 letters) + short forms of Dennis and Alan plus a 5 letter word for an open sore.
Tom Tom is a version of Sat Nav--think of Kay!!!
and thanks for the clues--will go and work on them.
Christina- I got the answer tomtom from the nursery rhyme and also from tomtom sat nav( help to navigate ones way home)
Thanks, hadn't realised about the sat nav. Was also concerned that Tom Tom was two words, so that helps that query too.
