Hi Chappies,

I'm looking to buy a new Digital Camera. Ideally with more than 7MP but for around �50-�60 (pounds). Any advise about which to choose would be helpful.

Am I right in saying that some, or most of the cameras now, do not come with a view-finder & is this a problem?

If you type '7mp digital camera' in your search engine you will have a huge choice to wade through.

Argos has a Canon 7mp for �50

No viewfinder is not a problem. The LCD screen is usually very good. Price?? Does it have to be new?? If that is not issue go to E-Bay. Just bought a Samsung S600 for �25 and it is 7MP with all the bells and whistles. Works perfect. Otherwise Amazon,but the price is usually higher

When I got mine...about 2 years ago..I specifically wanted a viewfinder.....It gives a truer image. I found that Sony was the only make that still incorporated a viewfinder. Unfortunately...most Sonys fall well above your limit.
