3. Woodcock really fits this clue. (Wood is another name for trees and a **** is a male bird) are you sure your other answer is right?
Errr could it be a Woodpecker? Wood is already explained, and a Pecker is .... well everyone knows what a male pecker is!!!!

I had woodcock for the clue which was ,46 in the timberyard ,and the question for no 46 was moggy in the middle which I had cockatiel .
