There's a similar legend relating to the Rollright Stones - a ring of standing stones in Oxfordshire - so presumably an ancient stone circle somewhere in Cornwall? I know that's a bit vague, but I hope it might be some help

Thanks , there are lots of stone circles down here so it's a start. If I get the answer I'll put in on this thread.
really not sure bout this answer and do not know about cornish connection but could it be counting chickens before they hatch?????????????
