Good morning everyone, I hope you're all well and ready to attack today's game - I fear crofter may not be with us until later, having celebrated an important milestone yesterday, perhaps a little too well, but Congratulations to you !!!

What with daylight saving arriving here in Oz before it does in the UK and the fact that the Spring Racing carnival has just commenced I'm rather at sixes and sevens today [ and didn't win any money either !! ]

Last week ladyh got off to a flying start and heads the pack for now, but who will latch onto the "curly" one[s] Kate has picked out for this weekend - we'll find out on Monday, remembering that the game stays open till midnight Sunday and answers can have any number of letters.

Hi grannydi, crofter turned 65 yesterday [ I think it was ] so he's off to try out his bus pass !!! we may not see him for a while, the novelty of it all !!

thanks seekeerz,I understood that bus passes were available from 60.pensions from 65 for men. crofter is a mere baby, I hit the big 70 10 days ago. Bit of a fright to the system mind!!
