MM and KM Links October 2009 [Week 3]

Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!

I am ashamed to say that I made a pig’s ear of the scoring of MM Links last week. Is this what Life has in store for me now that I have reached the critical age of 65? Do I become a grouch and complain about everything as a newly fledged SAGA-lout? Perhaps I was simply in a state of shock because Dustybun had scored Four Points?

Whatever the reason, I had better print out the corrected League Table after Week 2, so that everyone knows where they stand! It is as follows:

FOUR POINTS: beejay, Dustybun, rogerr, slaney & wickedtongue
THREE POINTS: Elspeth
TWO POINTS: Aquagility, fordward, Jim, Jools, Jo Ontice, lysander, miss meg, pauline, roslyn, Strix & twix123
Nine others are on ONE POINT

All those on Four Points are previous winners, so I’m keeping my eye on “Fresh blood”, Elspeth!

Whilst I may be in a state of panic, Queen Christiana has remained perfectly calm throughout. After all, she has had experience working with a monkey on a chain! I have no doubt that tomorrow morning, she will successfully launch her latest MM challenge, beginning at 8.45am and her four words to be linked being declared at 9.00am. You should also look out for Steff (aka seekeerz). She hails from Down Under and is our very own “Wizardess of Oz” and she organises the international version of the same game, which is called KM Links. Although it kicks off at an earlier hour, there are no penalties for entering your predictions at a later time. Both games remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards. Newcomers are always welcome!

Me? I’m crofter and I keep the scores for the MM Links Game. Hopefully, I shall return to my usual degree of accuracy. Until we meet up tomorrow, may I wish you “Good Luck” and “Happy Linking”!

Jan,
If "just everything has gone south"
maybe what we should do is ignore Botox, the knife etc and just have iron fillings injected into those wayward bits and Magnetic North would drag them all in the opposite direction to south?!!

I'm just waiting for Kay, having got so used to the "tourists" in her house (soon she will have those red ropes between posts like in stately homes), that she will get relaxed and open some cupboard/tumble dryer/microwave door and out will spring her bananas like something out of a Sci-fi horror movie and ravish her prosepective buyers.

Should be a fruitful encounter.......

Hello everyone, viewers stayed for ages as it turned out that Geoff did some plans for his brother, and he knew Geoff too. They seemed keen but never know. 1st viewing at night so had central heating on, and lights everywhere. This house selling is killing me....all this work!! Got lady coming for 2nd viewing tomorrow 3pm!! Bananas seem to be moving round the house, I think they have grown legs and turned into aliens!!! They are def. not in the kitchen where they started off, checked dishwasher, washing machine, my wellies, dogs beds......etc, etc but yes I have no bananas!!!!

Good evening all.
I missed the beginning of the banana saga, but it reminds me of an old remark made to me some years ago.
How is it, that when you are looking for something it always turns up in the very last place you look.

Hi x-ray..
Kay is selling her house, and when she had viewers a few weeks ago, she was tidying up, and she put the banana's in her washer out of the way, as she was advised to keep worktops clear. :-))
