As her Ladyship is obviously busy with her preparations for the festivities, may I welcome you all to a pre christmas evening .

Mince pies, nibbles and of course tailcocks and mukked wine will be laid on.

I won't be able to stay long as I have to dashout again soon...Christmas is such a busy time for us gentry.

Am quite organised milady and after I have lit the fires and stoked them on xmas morn, Alfie and I may go for a quick stroll in the grounds. Baileys and pernod??

Be careful in the grounds , though. The snowdrifts are quite deep.

Drink is greatly welcomed thank you. .....And the craft tonight will be threading popcorn for the tree or for those of a cheekier disposition threading cockporn for the tree. All classes due to start at 22.15 in the upper lower larger ballroom bring your own needles ( the rule about no sharp objects still applies to me )
