Just to make you feel better Loobyloo......I have only done 19...admittedly only started yesterday but it is another tough one. There will be people on here saying they have finished in a week or so.......obviously much more clever than most of us. They are great quizzes though, after doing them for 12 years now I still look forward to them coming twice a year.

Spent the last few days in bed with the lurgy - very boring - so haven't looked for a while. Hoping for a burst of bright ideas now that I'm almost fit.
Easy enough cure Proximus - don't look! Trouble is, it's addicitve, just like the quiz.

Amazing what an innocent little question can lead to ..!?! Thanks to everyone for their comments. I've only managed around 40 so far but am looking forward to getting stuck into the reference books soon.
At the end of May perhaps we can pick up where we left off and see how many have completed this one - it seems a bit tougher than usual. Good Luck to all.

It seems to me that you all might live near to each other, maybe. The Q is should I do Q.2 if I can't find the answer to Q.1?
More to the point how does one work out the answer to Q.1, I have spent 10 days trying to work it out and got nowhere, at this rate it will take me a year to finish it.

Question 1 still has me puzzled, but question 2 is easy.....just go through them answering the ones that you can.....and keep looking at this thread in the months to come....where I feel sure clues or answers will steadily be disclosed.
I have got about one third of the answers (I think) but we have until the end of May to complete.
Surprised to hear you have only one to go incognito...which one is that ?

Thanks Goofy, I lied to you, I decided to do page 1 before going on, but this strategy isnt working for me. X-Ray I did actually do Q2. and some other easy ones, but I so want to find the answer to No.1 Sweetheart could that be 'E' and why the - between it and grass? Maybe that is the only Q. that Incognito has to answer?? Did you win first prize in the last contest Goofy?

I did get 100 once, but normally I have at least one spelling mistake, and 1 wrong. Don't have number 1 (YET), but am still using the lurgy as an excuse!
