Although I do not have an answer yet, I do not believe that keepnet, cribble or tureens is the answer to 99. Sorry to be so negative. if and when I get it, I will share.

I agree Badger 4. It's a real teaser isn't it? I, like several others I think, only need that one and 56 which has also got me stumped. Won't give up though!

Mtsgirl, for 56 , the answer is worked out in the first part of the clue and the word is confirmed in the second part. Use an abbreviation for House of Representatives and a word for a monkey, not forgetting the indefinite article. The word is in Chambers. I've still a few to get but with some help I think I'll get there.

P-potter. Yes, at last I've got the little, or not so little monkey. I was indeed forgetting to use the indefinite article, then it became clear with the help of the on-line dictionary. Thank you so much. That just leaves 99, still can't work it out despite all your help....will try it again tomorrow. Any I can help with? I'm not convinced.razza because the answer isn't signalled in the clue,which it usually is unless it's very straightforward. I'd rather stick with 'keepnet' for the moment.About 67, Is the answer a sugar container?

P potter 67 can be a sugar container or think of a very famous mule from TV years ago and add something it's in Chambers or online dictionaries...just put the name of the mule and the rest should follow

99 - I agree with PP. I don't think it is either tureens (as PP says, not in the clue) or keepnet for that matter. Still thinking.

Hi everyone I have been doing rainbow puzzles for 5 years and this is the 1st year I cannot finish. Happy to share knowledge but am stuck on 35,48,50,73,86. Any tips appreciated

50) an anagram gives you an author, which will give you the answer (3 words in Anag).

48) look up drowned valley (3 letter word). Put latin word for water round this.

86) look up thoughts of heroes in your dictionary of quotations.
